About me
Qian Zheng is a tenure-track professor (doctoral supervisor) under the “100 Talents Program” at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University. He works closely with Prof. Gang Pan and Prof. Huajin Tang. His research primarily focuses on brain-inspired computing and spiking neural networks. He has published over 40 papers in top journals and conferences, including T-PAMI, CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc. He received the “Rising Star Award” from the Hangzhou Chapter of ACM in 2024. He serves as an editorial board member for international journals of IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems and Neurocomputing, and a reviewer for several top conferences or journals.
Before joining Zhejiang University, he was a Research Fellow at Rapid-Rich Object Search Lab (ROSE lab, directed by Prof. Alex Kot and Prof. Wen Gao), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, working closely with Prof. Boxin Shi and Prof. Xudong Jiang. His research at NTU is primarily on physics-inspired computer vision (reflectance modeling and its applications), neural rendering, and computational photography.
