About me

Qian Zheng is a Research Professor in the College of Computer Science, Zhejiang University. He was a Research Fellow at the Rapid-Rich Object Search Lab (ROSE lab, directed by Prof. Alex Kot and Prof. Wen Gao), School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and works with Prof. Boxin Shi and Prof. Xudong Jiang during 2018 and 2022. His research interests include physics-inspired computer vision (reflectance modeling and its applications), neural rendering, reinforcement learning, and brain-inspired computing.

Before joining NTU, he earned his Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Gang Pan. During his Ph.D. study, he visited the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) with a ZJU-PolyU joint supervision scheme under the supervision of Prof. Ajay Kumar in 2013 and 2015. He got his Bachelor of Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2011.
